A laid back video. (UVC and virus free.)

Just an ambient random project build for a change.

The next video is being recorded right now and is VERY interesting.  It's literally an electronic spray bottle that converts water and salt into a chlorine based cleaner.

My wife will say, "Where are you going to put that!?" But she loves my range of Clive's garden lights.

nice one. For extremely long winter nights, step up to put a 4x4x4 arduino led cube into these bulbs.

Unbelievable, last weekend I had a couple of similar ones to look at. They had the 2/3 AA batteries in them. The cost of replacing them was way above what the light was worth new, so I did pretty much the same. However I just printed a very slim line rectangle that was long enough to house the battery and it's connectors, and put a length of heat shrink over it. Took about 3 attempts at making one that fitted but got there in the end.

I am actually going into town today, so I will pop into Poundland and get a couple, as I have shed loads of LED's now (been stocking up)

At 20:11 I suddenly decided that I would like to see you build a filament garden light. Not sure the plastic globe would like it very much though!

Matt Tester

Boom, those ebay led's are out of stock.

A great result Clive from Poundland stuff and the Leds. I have changed those inductors myself in the past great hacks. Right about the switches they always rust. I must order some of those LEDs

I like this design because ostensibly it's going to be better at keeping water out, but there will be no escaping the inevitable condensation buildup

Yeah i was thinking maybe Clive could seal the battery into the tube with hot glue, although some kind of silicone plug would be easier to remove. Maybe make silicone putty out of silicone caulk and corn starch.

I did something similar with the battery a few years ago.....also on a Poundland solar light. And being a typical Irish summer, it rained a lot. The pipe filled up with water and shorted the battery :D Also still have a few lights with higher capacity button cells working away outside. You did a video showing this a few years ago.

Appley Nice to have a a laid back video!!!!

William Nimmo

Don't forget to add the flat-top LED ebay link in the video description!

Hope the next project will have build-along and source info; sounds like a very timely project (and I am stymied sourcing appropriate tubes for your 03 Genny project–I actually wanted to go with the Brit washroom style)

How did you know i needed a laid back Big Clive video right now?? How??
