That's the nature of facilities management type work. Literally people being thrown in at the deep end after following someone else around for a while. It was a bit awkward that Bill's questions were at an electron theory level. It's hard to describe electron flow and magnetics verbally without doodles.

Oh and the caller..... with Ham Radio valve amplifiers.. it's the rectified DC side of the Valve HT that needs monitoring, also he mentioned 6v... that would be the filament voltage.
