If you bought this, then the Koreans "just blue" smoke up your ass

Gordo

Or a presedential tweet perhaps ?

Did you just use the word “research” in the same sentence as mentioning the Daily Mail?? 🥴 I understood what you meant, but you just made me throw up in my mouth..🤢

Bo Holbo Rasmussen

Oh come on..🙄 Santa Claus lives in Greenland! 🤦‍♂️Non-Scandinavians, they’re everywhere these days..

Bo Holbo Rasmussen

😆 And the young earth creation “scientists” with all their “evidences” 😂 If you MUST know the reference, look up Dr. (who isn’t a doctor, and has also never been a high school science teacher) Kent Hovind.

Bo Holbo Rasmussen

Well at least they are right about it not damaging your skin. On the other hand. If they released something like this with different filter gels you can easily swap, it might actually be an interesting product for taking pictures. But i guess there is not enough money in that kinda product.

feeding at the "trough" of corona quackery

AMK

That sounds a great way to get you to enter your card details into the app. Especially if they lure you in with a huge discount on spares on day one.

Big Clive

This device seems appropriate for the current state of affairs. With a little research on the Daily Mail it seems typical of their standards as well ( I've never seen a DM) wouldn't be surprised if it made an appearance on Fox News next as a new revolutionary product.

But it’s blue Clive , it has to work 😂

It's crazy that this sort of crap can get mainstream media advertising. There shoulr be some sort of punishment for platforms that advertise products that do not even come close to what they are supposed to do!

Robert

Total Quackery. I suppose they are made by Santa Claus in the North Pole.

Mike Hughes

They say it’s perfectly safe and can’t damage skin but destroys all bacteria and viruses in seconds and the high temperature fused quartz film is ‘burnt up’ after 6 months of use (you can of course buy replacements through the app). Something doesn’t add up here 🤔. Their technical jargon is also the wrong technical jargon, if they used ‘photon upconversion’ it could have sounded somewhat believable.

I love the tone of the last line of the vid, " I'm not sure I would want that app on my phone" Another awesome vid Clive.

Jeff Larson

It's the same scientists who are experts at 5G's dangers.

Big Clive

Awww, but it ticks all the boxes, it's blue, it's germicidal and it probably blocks 5G death rays. It's A "must have !"

Too many politicians and celebrities pushing anti-science points of view. When you're willing to put ideology above fact you lose the ability to evaluate scientific claims. It's not a coincidence that the Daily Mail were the ones that fell for this.

UVB is often used for that. As found in tanning booths.

Big Clive

I was tempted, but wanted it to look bright in the video.

Big Clive

The world has gone into quackery overload, it's not just dishonest, it's dangerous to have people believe they are receiving protection when they are not, it will cause some to abandon simple behaviours like hand washing and limitation cross contamination believing they have a better level of protection from their quack devices. Trading standards aren't equipped to deal with the current onslaught of quack devices.

The Tinkering Shed

Aw, I thought you’d pick Lee 181 “Congo Blue”...

Question on UV. Some years ago I had chronic psoriasis and was being treated by a dermatologist. She said that I was too far gone for UV treatment and had to be given immunity modulator medication instead. I spoke to a few people that had the UV treatment and they said that their skin felt sore and kinda "burned" after each session. What type UV light would be used for this?

John Carr

Well to be fair. It did FEEL like germicidal UV. But the new softer type.

Big Clive

Or indeed any science at all. That's why they work at the Daily Mail.

Big Clive

Crack scienticians make major breaktrough... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRnt3TE-V-Y

Michael Thompson

"Scientists Develop .... " yeah right. Lazy journos don't know words more like.

Mike Page

Big Clive, always using your “logic“ you need to use “feels” rather than science!
