Have you downloaded the file for this board would like to order some of these would give me plenty of soldering practice a bit rusty .just replaced led back lighting on my sons tv so need all the practice I can get

Currently making up 10 of the 6x4 sized ones, the 0805 SMT resisitors are really easy to put on with an iron - in fact quicker than the thru hole LEDs. Found that the boards needed about 1-2mm trimming off the top to get them to fit into th picture frames that I bought, but they're looking good. Christmas presents sorted for this year :-)

That actually looks like a fairly relaxing build. Just a big plane of the same placements over and over - good for putting on a bit of music and getting into a rhythm with the repetitive steps.

I'd enjoy that. Repetitive soldering gets me in the zone. You should do an unabridged video of it's construction 😁

I think there's irons with solder feeders but IDK how practical they are. Besides Clive has that cool jig that holds everything in while soldering

Someone needs to build a reverse of the solder sucking tool for jobs like this, like a MIG welder for soldering. Or just give it to someone else to do. Has Ralfy ever wanted to learn to solder?
