Sausage rolls look fantastic, but I run hot and cold on sausages depending on the seasoning. I love the hots but when they are loaded with tons of sage and stuff I hit my limit early on 'em and can't eat much. What a beautiful experiment! It is truly win win for everyone, isn't it?

I'm not sure repeating the test with an unbroken sausage would result in much being different, I do think it really needs the moistness and saltiness of the saline solution. Perhaps put some in a squirty bottle and spray the sausage beforehand?

Yes, it's pre-cooked. The Hotdogger is only suitable for heating precooked sterile foods like hot dogs.

Is the sausage actually cooked and all you're doing is heating it ? I make sausage rolls here and they're baked and either frozen or eaten right after baking.

I wonder if lower voltage may have kept it from burning at the point of contact making it loose continuity.
