DIY beard oil and usage.

A different type of video with this channel.  I know that quite a few of you have beards.

If I do release it on this channel I may just release it at the same time as a technical video.

DIY beard oil and usage.

โ€œSlathered all over babies and made of freshly squeezed babiesโ€ had me in stitches

I have been using "beard butter" it works well. Has a strange smell. Not bad but strange. Ingredient list has a 11 types of oils and beeswax. Plus citric acid i assume for preservative.

That looks great Clive, but my beard doesn't squeek.

I feel a beard urge coming on...

Phil - I love the BUG, I do get insects on my screen in the UK. edit- I just downloaded it, hope you do not mind (I suppose I could have looked elsewhere but getting you image was couple of clicks ) Tip get a paint that matches dried coffee stain. :-))

"five freshly squeezed babies" ...oh there goes the coffee sprayed all up my wallpaper again! I trust none get harmed in the oil production?

I use argan oil (got some from poundland, not sure its the real thing but it smells like it), I love that smell but I do like the idea of using cedarwood so I might have to get some. My advice is use as little beard oil as possible, you don't need much. I also have a "luxurious" mustache and in my case beard oil makes it droopy so I use a wax, I use Mr Wax's Bounder as it has real Pussers Rum in it and its so stiff you can twirl your 'tache if you are into that type of thing. Great advice Clive!

After watching this, I decided to thin the sides of my beard, as it has about 4 months growth, and was beginning to look very Grizzly Adams-ish! It's quite soft though so I will leave off the oil for now, but may try it in a couple of months, when it is about half the length of yours.

WD-40 FTW!

Baby oil is the easiest way to source fine mineral oil here. And specifically skin safe purity.

Big Clive

Instead of baby oil, just buy lightweight pure mineral oil. As you say, it's functionally identical, just without the annoying, cloying "squeezed baby" scent. I wouldn't buy the mineral oil off Ebay in case someone's selling oil adulterated with something horribly toxic, but you can buy it at your local pharmacy for not much. It's sold as a laxative, among other uses.

Honest Amish Beard Balm FTW. BearKlaws also has a "Pacific Prince" beard wax that my ladyfriend really like.

They must squeeze very small babies to make that oil.

I was waiting for the beard funnel to make another guest appearance lol....

Freshly squeezed babies, excellent ๐Ÿ‘

All of my facial hair is pure white in contrast to my auburn (used to be red) hair. Can't even do sideburns. Keep it all shaved. Sigh...

Baby Bear was the one that picked the best porridge! Don't diss the blended babies!

Think you must have picked up baby beard oils there Clive. Hence the baby smell. Also avoid baby oil from concentrate, it's just the leftovers from pure baby oil blended and watered down.

You appear to be taking over my life, I have a "using Leads as mains indicators" video of yours on the workshop TV and this on my phone for a break, I don't even have a beard!
