The merchandise page now has embroidery files.

I'd like to thank Ben for creating the original logo, Dave for creating variants and Charles for converting them into embroidery files.

Here's the "merchandise" page where you get it made locally yourself:-

The gangsta logo with yellow letter fill should be bcdc5. Check out the contents of the zip file, particularly the jpg image.

Big Clive

I love it, lol rock on!

Hi Clive, am I right when I see that the logo with the yellow in the letters is not on the site?

Read the other comments, some people have shops that could do it, or take this to someone like Queensboro (they're in North Carolina, USA), or like Clive mentioned, there are sellers on eBay that post listings for custom jobs.

Dustin

Thats wicked

I've never really considered adding an icon like that. It seems easy enough. Notepad++ is my preferred way of editing HTML now. It's infinitely better than the original notepad, as it recognises things like HTML and adds some colour.

Big Clive

Try eBay. In the UK there are lots of small embroidery companies that off one-off things like hats.

Big Clive

If anyone in the usa finds a good place to get hats, let me know please. Im gonna start looking, the company my boss uses requires a whole box purchase.

I've uploaded the files to teespring without anything added to the price so you don't have to do that yourselfes: https://teespring.com/stores/quiescent-current

Paul Paulson

Thanks for sending me down an embroidery file format rabbit hole.

MrTridac

No idea what I would even DO with an embroidery file, got an idea of what an Embroidery file is for though ;-)

Robert

Excellent work all around, folks! Congrats and THANK YOU!

Michael Thompson

DIY merch! Love it.

Bill Kerr

Clive why not make tour own FAVICON.ico I think this is how you add this to your HTML your logo as a bookmark. http://www.advancedhtml.co.uk/favicon.htm I used to have Demon account back in 1993 and used to hand cut HTML with notepad.exe for Mosaic before working on early BT web projects, I have forgotten most of it now thank god.

John Harrison

Nice i like may be do the containment pie dish ;) :)

Mort

It's based on the gangsta meme, so would be a blunt. (Not that I use them myself.) Technically speaking you could change the end to blue to emulate a vape.

Big Clive

Wait a second! Shouldn’t that be a vape? It looks too much like a cigarette or blunt.

Same here, I own a commercial contract shop here in Tennessee with 16 Tajimas, and am a digitizer by trade. But I think the idea in releasing the files directly is to both save community members money, and give them the option of choosing local shops to patron. And I could be wrong, but I don't think Clive's the kinda guy that's into plugging the merch in his videos...

Dr. Obvious

Hey brother, I have a local shop that can mass produce these if you want a U.S. stockpile that we can ship from.

Thank you Ben, Dave, and Charles!

These files can also be embroidered to blank patches, with the logo only ones fitting nicely on 2.5" round patches, and the ones with letters on 4" wide rectangles!

Dr. Obvious

I'm getting my High Viz tagged with "The Cult of Clive". :)

Wim

Just for fun-sies? Or do you also work in the industry?

Dr. Obvious

Wherz the ellydeez? Is that a vape pen, or is he biting a cordless soldering iron? Therz some ver: talented guys out there! (Or is that supposed to be spelled "tainted") Now I gotta knit a sweater….

Each zip file contains various files that should work with just about any embroidery machine out there, along with instructions, PDF spec sheets, and various size sub-folders for hats, shirts, etc.!

Dr. Obvious

I wrote some embroidery software a handful of years ago while on the train to & from work. Unfortunately the laptop that code is on stopped working and I haven't managed to recover data from the SSD. :( I've been tempted to just re-read the stitch file specs and rewrite the code. I haven't, yet.

Martel DuVigneaud

Is there a specific brand of machine that these work on, or are they fairly generic? Hopefully i can take this to one of the mall kiosks that do custom hats.

Elliott Krimchansky

Yippee!

Hot dang! :D
