New files.
Added 2020-08-01 15:44:51 +0000 UTCI've just added the zip files for getting PCBs made online for the USB/PIR/LED project and also the disco light Splooshmeister mod.

I just received a batch of Gallium boards from JLCPCB which took about 20 days to get to Australia. They look great. Decided to try the RGB slow colour changing for the first one. I noticed that some of the LEDs will occasionally flicker and jump back to red, or some will not show blue. Im using 220 ohm resistors. Could this be an issue with some LEDs, or my resistor selection? Apart from that, it looks quite nice!
2020-08-10 04:17:41 +0000 UTCClive, do you realise that there is a difference between the schematic for the USB IR/PIR board and the actual PCB ? The schematic shows the 1M resistor from the 1k to base junction and ground, the pcb has the 1M from the 1k to input junction to ground, it's the opposite end of the 1k. I suspect this may be deliberate to avoid adding a link as it makes very little difference to the circuit.
2020-08-08 18:47:00 +0000 UTCI've just got my 7x5 version of the chaos panel from JLPCB. Took longer to arrive than expected, but the quality looks superb. Better than the PCBs we used to get in the late 80s when I worked for a pro-audio mixer manufacturer.

2020-08-07 19:18:53 +0000 UTCI've put the gerber zip files up for the sign PCBs. I added some pads to allow easy power buss-links, and tweaked hole sizes for easier soldering. They look OK, but at this point in time none have been manufactured yet.

2020-08-05 07:46:18 +0000 UTCI might give them a tweak before putting them up. I had forgotten about that with so many other things happening right now.

2020-08-04 16:54:22 +0000 UTCAre the released Gerbers for the 5x7 and 3x7 going to be the same as the existing .lay files, or are you re-doing them?

2020-08-04 15:21:58 +0000 UTCI just received my A4 Chaos Panel boards from JLCPCB and they look great.

2020-08-03 12:08:57 +0000 UTCThanks for those Clive. I will not publish them anywhere, but I may use them for things that they may not be meant to be used with. Don't worry, I am not the type to hold you responsible for anything of this sort! I noticed an old PIR circuit there from a previous project. It looks the same. What is the difference between the two.

2020-08-01 19:21:54 +0000 UTCGlad you posted the new Splooshmeister. I had a JLC order in already that i could add it to. Now I just need to buy the disco light off ebay.
