Defrost control timer
Added 2021-04-14 04:07:10 +0000 UTCThis turned out a lot more complex than I was expecting. It isn't just operating as a simple timer, but more as a time accumulator which also responds to the defrost termination thermostat.
I went off camera when I turned the blue cam over. It has two spiral ramps that reset the contacts slowly (while they still make contact) and then clicks between them in both directions for a very small movement. I can't really show that happening, as it's out of sight in the unit.

That's what i used to cycle the UVC lamp I put inside my window AC. I used it a little differently, it turns the lamp on 44min every 15hr it's plugged in. this way it runs about twice a day, maybe withe the fan and compressor on and maybe not and it never needs setting.
