I'm genuinely impressed by the effects that such a simple device can achieve.

2020-12-18 02:58:24 +0000 UTCIn a neighborhood close to mine a house is using lasers for Christmas decorations to project on the trees and house but one projector is mis-adjusted so you catch a green beam when you are driving down the street. I was thinking of knocking on the door but I doubt they care or would do anything even if I tried to explain that it isn’t safe.

2020-12-17 15:34:42 +0000 UTCIt'd be good to have some motor control to slow the effects down a bit they transition fairly quickly. I pulled apart another version of this that had maybe 10 effects. It also had a plug for a blue laser on board.
