Tech-tuber zoom-meeting

Just in case you guys missed this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ricc9IZNuPo

It's notable that I was the only one that brought a bottle of wine and disgraced myself publicly (again).

ads are actually served using javascript and your browser play another video/stream, you can see because there is a flicker on mon web browser when it goes from one stream to the other. Also Dave really censored Clive secrets! :( :D Also on my side if there are times I don't watch the Patreon video, it is linked with Patreon stopping to send me notifications for some reasons and the app is really not made for Patreon, but content creator and they made lots of changes recently to make the app even more painful to use to go watch content from creators..

Manoel

I like the idea that was briefly passed over of getting all of you chaps (and chapesses for that matter) to all tear down the same crappy Chinese gizmo and each give your own take on it.

Jon Knight

My add blocker works the stream just runs without adds, if i like the video I will make a donation or become a patron, after all you tube was supposed to be free not a revenue for people they were supposed to be doing it for fun.

Jimmy 60

I reckon this video might be popular, especially the segment about how you set up your phone to record videos and conversations about options for growing/splitting channels.

Jon Knight

Atleast you didn't almost forget like some other tech youtuber ;)

It was a fascinating and interesting zoom meeting, but about a bottle of wine, well ... I think no one noticed it ...))) I hope to see you in this lineup more than once.

Excellent

Keep in mind that I've been streaming for over a year, so I've fine tuned my setup in that time.

Big Clive

Thanks for the link. You said low Patreon views I see the email and copy and paste the youtube link into the browser because Patreon is so slow here.

Nuts 'n' Proud

Clive, you're always the heart of the party!

Simple Electronics

Despite the expertise and experience of these guys, Clive's production values in terms of camera and sound (which I think is a phone with an external mic) outshone them 100%.

adrian

Thanks for sharing this. I like that you do look after Patrons a bit. PS: I do use an ad blocker, UBlock Origin, and the blocking in Youtube videos is seamless. If the rules are out of date I get a white screen and the usual skip ad and countdown buttons.

Cheers for uploading this Clive, it was an interesting discussion and so curious how we do all watch the same channels. I wouldn't have naturally assumed TPAI would be in this mix but he is absolutely one of my favourite channels, it was good to hear some chat from him without it being 'content'.

The Tinkering Shed

I have one or two videos people always ask advice on and they offer to pay me, I'm happy to give them whatever advice I can but I never accept the offer of payment for 3 reasons: 1) the content is usually hobby stuff for me, I'm definitely not an expert and wouldn't be confident the advice I gave was the best solution, 2) I don't want to feel obliged to always give answers, 3) I would just be too embarrassed to take money directly from someone for something I don't see as a professional service. Ironically when I post anything relating to my profession nobody asks anything and the videos get very few views, guess my job is just boring as hell!

The Tinkering Shed

BTW thumbs up for supporting us Patreons with advance releases - I for one do notice and it does make a difference. There are many other tubers who I would support but have no incentive to do so. Times are hard and it helps when every shekel earns its own weight back.

Ymir the Frost Giant

That was great Clive, thanks for sharing. Nice to know there are some good conversationalists about, or at least something...ists.

Ymir the Frost Giant

It was great seeing you all in one place. Thanks Dave for recording it.

Simon Hopkins

That was a really enjoyable stream. Looking forward to more of those! :)

Martin

Both were invited, but didn't make it this time.

Big Clive

I'll probably make a dedicated video about it.

Big Clive

It was excellent, funny and interesting. I hope you all do more of these.

I totally agreed with what you said about super chat and getting money. I have even a hard time when I help someone and he wants to give me 50€ afterwards. I usually feel like a scammer for taking it for something that easy to me.

L3P3

I loved seeing this. I know the list could be extended forever but I missed Fran and Mr. Carlson. As a patron of the latter, I can highly recommend him, I learnt soo much from his videos.

L3P3

Oh man, sad about that censoring on whatever you use to get those pictures of PCB's. I've always been impressed with the quality of your prints when you bring them into a video. Also, totally agreed, you were hilarious and that was a great conversation!

rayarca

How fu@king good was that!!! Some of the best technical electronics guru’s there...

Mike Wynne

You where hilarious! .. plus wine in a whiskey glass with ice cubes .. why the hell not :-)
