The design is very simple. Just a cluster of four standard charge control chips in parallel.

2021-09-15 19:42:32 +0000 UTCI have fallen in the trap a few times, designing a PCB with the +, - inverted for the DC connector. In one case I could mount the DC plug on the back side of the PCB, the other time I Dremmeld (is that a word?) the tracks and hot wired the DC connector. Didn't look good as I had to epoxy the connector to the PCB - but it worked.

2021-09-14 23:01:49 +0000 UTCAccording to "SHEN ZHEN FINE MAD ELECTRONICS GROUPCO., LTD." the thermal resistance from junction to ambient could be 125 K/W. The IC dials down the constant current to avoid overheat. I reckon those through-holes under each part are heatsinking. Your FLIR will reveal more.
