Midweek stream reminder

I get the voice thing too. Can be quite disconcerting. Apparently it's a common thing because of the brain trying to interpret sound as possible speech.

Big Clive

Missed it, but I may come back to it. Sooo freaking tired when I went to bed I thought I could hear voices. It was my tower fan. I suppose I need to wean myself off it now it's not summer! Thanks for all you do, Clive.

It might have to be a metal spike, as being in the post-whoofle flame would probably melt it.

Big Clive

Also, would some sort of 'spike' (similar shape to the clear part you removed from the poundland globe/bulb) sticking up from the centre of the whoofler to prevent the whoofle bubbles falling over?

Hi @BigClive, Have you seen the COB LED strips? 300ish LED's per metre... (search ebay with "COB LED STRIP -SMD" Will find em)

Just as a matter of interest has anyone seen the "Franzoli Electronics" YouTube channel..? Extreme high voltages and music..

Growing up, my family had an electrostatic air cleaner on our furnace, to take dust & dander & various crap, including smoke, out of the air (allergies). My mother used to clean it by taking the plates-module out and running it through the dishwasher - hot water and alkaline detergent seemed to do a pretty good job on removing smoke residue. She actually used an old dishwasher that we'd replaced - it still worked, but the plastic coating on the wire dish racks in it would get cut up by the sharp plate edges, so you probably wouldn't want to do this in a "good" dishwasher.

Quantum mechanics... I can't do the math, but I get a little of it. It's real enough. The tunneling diode cannot be explained by classical mechanics, but quantum mechanics explains it perfectly, to within the limits of mathematical error. Also doesn't work without quantum mechanics: scanning tunneling electron microscope. And a million other things. Quantum mechanics is frustrating because it's completely counterintuitive -- it does not map to real-world experience in any way, because on quantum scales matter and forces behave in ways that are completely alien to us macro-scale shaved apes.

Clive, I posted this link on the stream but it was lost in the mire.it gave me a laugh about Glasgow (ps I love the place and my brother lives there) https://mobile.twitter.com/govindajeggy/status/452023042705997824?lang=en

Copyright subsists in everything in a YouTube stream. There must be more to it than that. Clive could make up a tune and hum it to us, and the copyright would be his. Many years ago, working for an ISP, I had a customers free web hosting account suddenly become extremely busy to the point it was affecting other services. I found that the customer had a personal website with all the Eurovision song competition entries on it, so I disabled it for copyright infringement. The customer came straight back with the written permission he'd obtained from the EBU... It's wrong to jump to conclusions... Lesson learned!

Just so you don't miss this - don't ever play copyrighted music on a YouTube livestream. The stream will be taken down after about 30 seconds. I've seen it happen.

Notification was not in the spam bin - let's hope the problem has been fixed ๐Ÿ”ง
