Man that was weird, from the video thumbnail those units look like they are 18-20” tall, then your hands come into shot and for a split-second it looks like you have huge, giant hand! They I realise, yeah, the units are actually tiny lol

HAM slice show the effect of these units, it took me a couple of moments to figure it was the unit causing the odd mottled colour change in the meat when I had a packet open below the unit.

Is it the type with a ceramic panel with electrodes on either side? Not seen one that uses a heatsink compound material.

However, they do have a bit of an oddity as regards the business end of the thing! Hi Clive, my unit belts out ozone in big quantities. It's made to clean whole rooms. It has a 35, 45 and 60 minute timer, it also has 4 slots whch emit the goodies. It came from ebay. The seller is em_store90 and description :- "Car Home Air Purifier Ozone Generator Negative Ion Generator for Odor Remover" It really stinks of the zone when on. I suppose it's not going to kill that damn mouse, it avoids 5 traps with Nutella and peanut butter in them.

The lemon style units seem to have disappeared from AliExpress, but this is the first time I've really looked at (and then bought from) that service. They did have the "Twinkie" style versions you mentioned and I've got one coming "from the USA" (right) for just under US$12. Looking forward to testing it out.

Yes. I somehow managed to mention that and then completely ignore it while trying to work out age from the PCB style.

A refreshing case of evolution not revolution. I wonder if the many screws complicated case design is their attempt to try to show they are protecting people from the high voltages that lurk inside?

Have a couple of these and they work wonders in the fridge keeping things fresh and mold at bay from the fruits and veg.

By a funny coincidence I got an email from AliE at almost the exact same time asking me to buy more of these at a "special price just for you". Yeah right.
