No more wine!

Last night's stream wasn't just a bit risque in showing alternative technical devices, but left me feeling very rough all night.
Maybe putting an astronomical amount of carbon dioxide into wine and then drinking it isn't a good idea.

That section of the stream has been "muted", but may still be findable by notification emails for the second part after an attempt to cure audio glitches went wrong with the first part of the stream.

Please do not share the link to the unlisted video.

Comments

The e-mail notification that Patreon sent when Clive posted the new link contains the link. Hopefully you still have the e-mail.

You didn't do or say anything wrong! The take-away was that anyone in tech who is struggling could possibly look into alternative markets.

mikenco

I can’t find the link to the second part 😢

Nic Higham

if you made 1000 people happy. How could you regret that?

When I first put them on eBay I felt very awkward, but got over it fairly quickly when all the positive feedback started rolling in.

Big Clive

Thanks for this video. It was hilarious. The question is "does your soul now feel more at ease after the confession?"

Clive, that stream was epic, best ever! Reading your initial post stream comment made me think of a quote I once seen - "Be who you are, and say what you feel, because those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter" keep up the good work Big Man.

Shorty

You can make a video private - which means its still there but no-one can view it (unless specifically invited), or you can outright delete it. That does however, assume that no copies have already been made elsewhere (which is fairly common for public videos on popular channels). This was never public, so less chance of that.

Mark Gray

Sorry you feel like hell after drinking that stuff, it sure does make a good video for us! Maybe toning it down some so it doesn't hit you as hard?

Jason Greene

Clive, that's brilliant! You absolute fucking legend!

Ian Cooper

If youre worried make it private video in a few days.

Nuts 'n' Proud

No worries clive, mrs G and I thoroughly enjoyed the live stream😁

Lee Goodair

That was an awesome stream big clive! i had originally missed it but all these comments had me dive in to see what the fuss was about. Pay no mind to the karens in this comment section lol and i took no offense to anything in the stream as always! but consider this the last i mention anything about this streams existence. take care dude and always a pleasure when your content goes out to the masses!! Cheers from australia

Louboxington

BC, your not sharing request sort of answers a question I've been meaning to ask, so I will. Once you release a vid on YT or Patreon, are you able to take it down again should you wish to later on?

Ymir the Frost Giant

We have all done things we later regret to some degree. Few of us get to do them on a live stream, Regardless, it's Clive's stream. If he wants to draw a veil over it, that's cool with me. Hey "buying a cup of coffee" on a monthly basis does not confer "ownership rights".

Angus McLean

Damn. I can never watch the streams live. Sad I missed it. Hope you're ok in any case, Clive x

Mike Hanley

Damn I missed it and can’t find the link

Nic Higham

Nice balance of silly without going over the top Maybe the wine was just a bit too cheap and nasty this time rather than anything else.

Russell Couper

no more CO2 in wine, put that stream on the shelf labeled as oops , and get a cat

richard ockman

(Waves hand) This is not the stream you are looking for.

Steve Askey

I must admit I missed the beginning, so don't know how much CO² you put in the wine but I do know that adding CO² naturally or artificially increases the speed the alcohol is absorbed into the blood stream from the stomach. The additional vaping of high concentrations of nicotine when you are not a smoker will exasperate any hangover that results. So less CO² and no nicotine will not cause you to feel like shite afterwards. As for the content of the stream, I found it highly entertaining, informative and relaxed. No doubt there will be a few who will be upset at the devices to block 5G or maximise the effects of some of these sudo sciences but personally I think it's fine, you never said it cured anything. Anyone getting on their high horse because they know someone who chose a sudo science over medicine that is the choice of that individual, if they are gullible enough to believe one or two sudo science fools over a massive amount of people saying use your doctor, there is little hope for them. Keep doing what you want in Patreon streams, we don't talk about them other than very general terms in open streams, that is one of the bonuses of the Patreon stream, it is mor intimate and far more technically orientated.

Paul Amos

This was one of the best yet. I have to admit I have been tempted to start a side line selling alternative products like that. After seeing the 5g tower buster things selling in their thousands there's obviously plenty of money to be made but when it comes to 5g I just can't bring myself to perpetuate that sort of stuff. My own family are all over quack stuff when it comes to certain things. Last year my mum had a bad back and was going to go to a chiropractor but I talked her out of it. Good thing I did because it turned out she had a fractured spine and a chiropractor would have probably put her in a wheel chair for the rest of her life. Now she's on about getting acupuncture. Fair enough if it makes people feel better about themselves and it doesn't cross the line of being harmful to themselves or society in general then I don't see any harm in it. People want to believe and maybe that gets them through the day. I can see why people want to believe it especially when it comes to medical stuff where the entire industry is just as motivated by profit as the guy selling quack products claiming to cure everything. The history of medical science is full of quackery and highly unethical shit.

Binky

Definitely the best live stream so far. It was very entertaining and informative. I had no idea that such things existed. Years ago I had an idea for a purchasable "product" that I could justify with actual science and people would give it a go because that's human nature and they'll want my product to get themselves out of a situation that they believe they put themselves in. Watching the stream made me realise it's an idea I should follow. Time for a new Etsy page and time to write up the scientific evidence in a way that fools would understand it. I'm sure the moderators including myself will be muting anyone who brings it up in tonight's chat.

evilution

Absolutely the best stream yet ! just watched it now couldn't join in on Thursday, I love it when you get p*ssed anything can happen! keep up the good work Clive see you again Sat 👍

Simon Midgley

oh come on Martin.

Liz Edwards

— No more wine! is quite a strong promise. For someone who got really used to drinking various alcoholic drinks, it will lead to a huge stress inevitably. But sometimes people can lower their annual intake of ethanol significantly, or even give drinking alcoholic beverages up completely. You really look like you can relax and have fun just by spending time with people you know and want to be with; yet, it's you to decide about your life and choices you're good with. Have fun, dearest Clive.

I know I'll get a lot of flak for this and that I'm a preachy cunt but I can't just ignore this and move on. Just because there's a market for this doesn't mean one should take part in it. People get into this quakery shit because of repeated exposure and circle referencing. You don't just suddenly decide that this is what you believe in now. Once you're in this spiral it gets harder and harder to quit - it's like with conspiracy theories or UFOs, once you've started reading deeper and deeper into it you're running the risk of seeing connections everywhere and the best ones usually cannot be easily disproven without considerable amount of work. I've seen a very likeable couple drift away into these things over months and years and when she got cancer they refused treatment because they wanted to try "alternative" methods. She obviously died shortly after. Is it their own fault? Sure, but I also blame everyone re-enforcing their beliefs because they could make a quick buck from their naivity and false hopes. I believe we would have less problems with this crap if fewer people tried to profit from it. I get it, you're obviously not exactly comfortable talking about this since it took you so long to even mention it and taking money from apparently dumb people who happily give it to you and never complain sounds wonderful - but in the end, from your own standards, are you contributing to society with it? Is that what you want people around you to be like? You said that it's a much better business than selling kits to people who can't solder a resistor straight on and complain about it, but for every 10 of these idiots that won't achieve anything in life you gave 1 a new perspective and got them into electronics or making - maybe even get a job in this industry and contribute to society in this way. You have an almost cult like following and for a good reason - you don't need this quakery scam shit. You've laid out your reasoning and all that but the motives don't change the outcome. If we all dropped our moral standards and went the predatory way we'd completely wreck this society within years. Sorry for the vent but I had to. Not saying something was not an option even though it most likely achieves absolutely nothing and I'll only get flak for it. And I can live with that, I'm just disappointed, that's all.

Martin

Don’t sweat it mate. Kink wise - you’re tame! 😜 Keep calm and carry on!

Chris

It sure was a fun livestream, particularly the end user feedback and questions. 😁 So glad the fizzy wine effect took a technical route instead of going down the usual ranty rabbit hole.

Seán Byrne

Stream was fine, people have been drinking over carbonated liquids for years. Could it have been kernicker teen from one of the vapes?

Tokkan FX

as i never watch the whole stream live and missed the 2nd half i guess i will have to start recording it in future.

Lee Donaghy

Missed the livestream as I was ill, but had a quick glance just now. Ahahahaha! Can't wait to watch in full later!

Ian Cooper

I was working anyway so won't watch it on catch up 😜

Robert

I enjoyed the stream. :-)

Tony Weavers

I rarely have a chance to watch replays of the streams, but after seeing this I had to go watch, I was not disappointed :)

Jrandom Bob

Thank you Clive!!

Graham Shaw

“If water has memory, and there’s a good chance someone has shat in that water, you’ve basically got a bottle of shite.” I needed a good laugh today, and this brought it. Thank you, Clive!

Andrew Davison

Nothing wrong. Enjoy spending time with you.

boudicca

There was absolutely nothing wrong with that stream. I'm naming my next pet after you. You're a treasure.

Matthew Dickey

It was fine, but the older i get, the less it takes to make me feel crappy. It does screw with your sleep too.

Kevin Hardisty

It was a good event I also had too much

N. Shaun Tremayne

You did well. Was a good stream.

Thanks for resharing!! I'm sorry I missed it. Very epic devices you have there BC. Sounds like a goldmine product. 💚🤎💚

It was fine. Glad I was there!

Eddy Gurge

This was the best livestream ever, the dubious devices were a great laugh, I actually want a pyramidion energizer to keep my coffee cup hot, could I order one pleaseeee? :D

Dave Matthews

All is good

I'm one of those woos that like having different natural rocks in the house and loved the alternative technical devices

If I was in the market for an alternative technical device, you would be the first person I'd ask to build me one. you researched and built them to exacting specs. People improved their lives because of it.

Sog Sussex

I managed to find a copy of one of the eBay listings. Absolutely brilliant, you're a genius Clive.

Gary Bleads

I watched it all, didn't hear anything actionable as a choice was given, all items made to correct specs and a good refund time offer if not happy. As far as the wine fizzy whizzing is concerned just do what feels comfortable for you, never mind the audience they don't have to suffer the after effects you may have to experiment a bit as to how much fizz you put in, and not suffer after effects. I would do that off Stream keep well and happy Clive and you can still have your odd Senior moments

Someone needs to do a comparison of a fixed percentage of alcohol but compare the effect for varying CO2 levels! That's a study i'm happy to help with.

Mike Hanley

Now I wish I'd been there, lol!

Kathryn Fortunato

I think you should care less about it to be honest. Not like you're breaking the law 😂.

SimplyElectronics

I knew I saved every Patreon email for a reason!

Circuitmike

Yay the not-missing-segment is back :) I was about to demand a partial refund for the missing content, but I guess you snooze you lose! Annoyingly I'm not snoozing tonight.... Can't wait to not see what didn't happen ;)

Simon Casey

I thought it was a really interesting stream and the 'alternative' content has kickstarted some old projects I had mothballed. I hope you get some better sleep tonight 💤 😴

electronbox

It was quite insightful to be honest and interesting to see some of your products. Clive - When the first stream went down I put a link to the pt2 in the comments for people to follow, you might want to remove it (or I will if you want).

All the fun stuff happens on streams that I miss!! lol

Just started watching it again. Loving your work Clive

Peter Harkins

I exited the stream early. Still no problem. Never happened :-)

Peter Stevens

Alas I dropped out too early. Hope you recover soon Clive :)

Andrew Hosie

You are a beautiful creature. Its ok to have those moments. You share so much with us. We love you either way. We are all human learning our way.

Frankfactor

I had a really good time with the stream. I love the way you pause for a bit, and then go, fuck it, I'm showing them. So funny. It seems that the rest of the world is full of wowsers and Karen's at the moment. Pays to be a Patreon to see this stuff though.

TopEndSpoonie

The first rule of Clive’s Patreon streams; you don’t share Clive’s Patreon streams!

Eddie C

Stream ... What stream ... No idea what you're talking about ... 😙

Scrufdog

I feel for you, but I am also laughing quite a bit. You poor sod.
