Another Russian MRE

I've been having a slightly frustrating time exploring a boiler/furnace burner controller, so thought I'd take a break and have a Russian themed meal.

The burner controller seems to derive part of its power supply from the blower motor, either as a tap on the winding, or possibly generation from the rotation to act as a safety feature.

That makes testing it without the blower more complex.

I don't usually fancy trying these but that beefy goodness looked quite nice. I with you on the tea, I like a cup but not if it taste too herbal. I'm disappointed that you didn't make bum wipe tea just for the sake of it.

Request Italian MRE's they are the Armani's suits of the MRE world !

When I saw that 20g packet I thought "isotonic drink". I did not think sugar. Weight-wise, it's far more efficient to transport fat than sugar, which is why most MREs make use of lardy meals.

Where can I buy? I think I could live off mre

It's the way that Clive takes to eating those cream crackers. What you don't see is the amount of crumbs that he has to comb out of his beard afterwards.

I've tried the magnetic version and managed to convince myself that it made it softer on the throat.

That apple stuff looks like what we call "apple butter" in the US. Yummy!

Its so nice to get a box of goodies to open... makes you feel really special. This would beat a tub of Quality Street at any time!

Totally out of context. Just checking my Octopus account and came across this "Wine can be ā€˜aged’ by passing it through an electric field for three minutes." Probably old news but have you tried it?

Can't be, the Haggis only lives in areas of Scotland, i'm not sure how well it would adapt to the Russian climate.

Mike Hanley

The buckwheat and beef looks like a Soviet Haggis!

I know this is not the place for politics, and the above is just a pun but heres a question to ponder... Who would benefit more from starting another war, Capitalist or Communist countries? (This is a genuine thinking man's question to anyone. I'm not after a reply, just wanting to inspire some deeper thought. Oh, and I'm not a Communist lol, I just like to question what I'm told, we all know the news isn't the news anymore.)

It wouldn't be a can opener, but maybe some kind of opener for containers that aren't metal.

What is the small green plastic arrow shaped device used for?
