Solid state pantie cleaner sheets

Not even electronic, but I have listed the ingredients in the video description so the chemists can ponder them.

The whoofler is a 3|D printed fireball generator that bubbles butane lighter refill gas through whoofler fluid, which is just dishwashing detergent in water. It creates a highly combustible foam.

Big Clive

You obviously don't watch any of his live streams on the BigCliveLive YouTube channel.

evilution

OK, Google returns no hits on "whoofler fluid," so... what?

Circuitmike

Conceptually, I do quite like the idea of a powder/liquidless solution. Less messy, easier to use. I do wonder about the safety of this though and if there's an equivalent Westernized version that's gone through, shall I say, more reliable testing standards.

The ebay listing does say "The main ingredient is plant enzyme" - so we'd class it as "biological" detergent? Not for use with silk undies!

Andy Brown

One of those ingredients is probably some kind of enzyme that breaks down protein. Protein stains. Let's just leave it at that.

Nani Isobel

Not sure. Maybe worth a go.

Big Clive

They taste terrible. (I tasted one on a live stream.)

Big Clive

I'd be curious about just how high the pH of that solution you made was. Do you have a pH meter, Clive? The instantly-slippery-fingers bit suggests that it is quite basic, and was saponifying the oils in/on your skin into soap. In the west, laundry detergents tend not to be too highly basic, though they will be somewhat. Dishwasher detergent can be quite basic - I wouldn't be surprised if these sheets are closer to that than to laundry liquid in the west.

Charles

You would have to do like project farm and test dirty and stained items compared to other soaps

richard ockman

I saw a similar product on Shark Tank. Their goal was to eliminate the plastic laundry soap bottles. They admitted that they did not own the patent for the product, but didn't go into more detail.

Matt Larson

I wonder how effective they are, I mean unless you'd got a nasty stain on something water on its own would do a lot of the cleaning. I use the pods but I don't know how effective they are really because I rarely get a bad stain to check what they are doing.

Matthew Beddow

Fresh and clean.

Chris Crowther

That's all well and good but can you use it as whoofler fluid.

evilution

But how do they taste! 😱

The “west” has all these laws and oversight about what goes into products and labeling and even they get caught playing fast and loose with ingredients sometimes. I wouldn’t trust what they say on that box as far as “ingredients” go..
