Hi Big Clive, If it's any help, the crackle sounded Analogue, Not a digital clip. It could have been a coincidence but it crackled a bit when you checked the connection near the camera. I see from your video's you're not a very technical person, and being gay you obviously dont like getting your hands dirty, so I can guide you through the process of cleaning connections if you like lol. *Disclaimer: Proffessional sound engineer for 30+ years listening through very old ears and crapy inbuilt laptop speakers...
