2021-11-06 07:03:05 +0000 UTCThere's a 12-80v which I hope means it has a regulator, ... i'm finding more, but aliexpress really don't make it easy to find the best prices. Some sellers offer warm white versions, which I'd prefer, but haven't found them cheap yet.

2021-11-05 20:45:53 +0000 UTCYour resistor idea leads to a little potentiometer to make a dimmer control. Would it work? Ta David for the links. They even do 24v versions - oooh! Update: link 1 says 12-24v but is only 12v; link 2 has 12v, 24v and 12-48v options. Ordered the last one to have a look!

I have some similar sized 12v fluorescents to replace.. and that looks like it'll take an easy modification. Now then, the one you linked to.. adding it to "favourites" gives me a suggestion box with 2 pin micro USB connectors, OTIS elevator parts, etc ..... can't really think why that might be!! I've just spent ages trying to find any I can buy .. only to find that the reason is Aliexpress had decided to set my "ship to" country to Afghanistan ?!? Anyway..
