It's fine. The tiny pads make soldering a bit harder. I usually strike a compromise between being as big as possible without too much risk of bridging.

Now I'm embarrassed - definitely not my finest soldering work. It was the first one I grabbed off the pile... I also had a problem with this roll of solder - the flux in it is very inconsistent. It would have a huge amount for a while, so that it's hissing and spitting flux all over for 10-20cm, and then it would have none at all for another 10-20cm. When there's no flux, the molten solder just won't wet the pad and component leg, so you get a huge, blobby cold joint. After you get to another section with flux in it, you can go back and reheat the problematic one and get it to form a proper joint, but it will still be huge unless you use a solder-sucker or wick on it. Thankfully, that kg of solder is done. The new one is much better. I guess this is what I get for buying cheap solder off aliexpress. I may make the board gerber available - I'm actually on a second version now - but in the meantime, the script for the stand is available. It's in Python and uses the pythonopenscad package to generate OpenSCAD script as output.
