Hoisted by my own petard
Added 2022-05-05 11:53:36 +0000 UTCI think my safety video may have triggered more aggressive filtering of the dangerous wood burning videos. I've just received a warning for my FIRST video on the subject that showed the safety required and how a lower current transformer could be used instead, and it's been taken down.
I'm not too bothered by it being taken down, but those warnings are a bit worrying when you get them.

The only good thing about "The Mirror" is that its audience of old people who eagerly gobble up malicious headlines is dying off. The stacks of newspapers get smaller by the year.

2022-05-09 23:58:54 +0000 UTCHealth and safety rules were put there to protect idiots from themselves but instead hinder people with common sense and the idiots ignore the rules anyway. π

2022-05-08 09:52:39 +0000 UTCThere's a great deal more on YouTube that's, more offensive, more dangerous and not in the slightest informative, but they choose to act against someone who is not publicising a dangerous activity, but actually warning against it. Is this not just typical of an automated "Artificial Intelligence", I use the term "intelligent" very very loosely here and not actually a human intervening to stop what they think is a dangerous video?

2022-05-07 00:14:33 +0000 UTCYou have got to laugh. Youtube need to take more notice of the public information video. https://www-mirror-co-uk.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/man-who-gave-microwave-artificial-26823597.amp?amp_gsa=1&amp_js_v=a9&usqp=mq331AQIKAGwASCAAgM%3D#amp_tf=From%20%251%24s&aoh=16518379590210&csi=0&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mirror.co.uk%2Fnews%2Fweird-news%2Fman-who-gave-microwave-artificial-26823597

2022-05-06 12:06:43 +0000 UTCIf YT starts to take down vids showing how to do wood burning, i don't think they'll bother to do safety assessments of every procedure shown to see which to remove and which to keep. They will just take them all down. No biggie as long as they keep the last one :)

2022-05-06 10:41:07 +0000 UTCWell then some good has come of it! But I'm guessing its a repetitional damage issue for You Tube - who will be seen the enabler (yet again) of dangerous content, Also there is the possibility that they could be facing a law suit. Which is why they finally done something to address this. I know its terrible that your hard work has been affected but think of the lives you may have just saved!

2022-05-06 02:31:15 +0000 UTCNot sure, but if you google High voltage wood fracking now you get dozens of news articles about people dying in addition to 4 very low view count videos (38k, 1.8k, 800 views, ...) and a single pinterest link. Or at least that's what I get.
