Very unusual rechargeable UVC light

The circuitry has some strange features, and one very shady one.

The component physically marked with R0 appears to be an N-channel MOSFET.

2023-02-24 03:28:14 +0000 UTCThe R0 component is the mosfet that connects the lamp to ground. When Big Clive is pointing out to components on the picture, he calls it out as the mosfet. Don't know why it is labeled R0. *shrug*

2023-02-23 08:49:07 +0000 UTCIn the 1970-80 as a kid I was exposed to a lot of arc welding while holding steel fabrication for my dad to weld my safety equipment was (shorts and a T shirt) and shut my eyes when I was told to do so. I had "arc eye" twice when I had a -side flash- when I was not involved in welding, I did however get a bit of sunburn so I am sure my Vitamin D levels in winter were quite good. I am sure MIG TIG arc is more sever compared to the stick rod since part of the arc is covered in flux as you weld. In recent years watching YT Chinese TIG welding they only had plastic clear glasses, I found out that some clear plastic glasses block UV ?
