Flux residue and fairground games

The video looks at some PCBs from almost thirty years ago to see if the flux residue left on the PCB had any signs of corrosion.
It also gives a demo of the PCBs I used for designing and programming a fairground game.

2023-03-21 01:20:40 +0000 UTCI like using sensitive gate silicon controlled rectifiers, SCR's my go to is a the TS820-600H. it can handle the inrush current of a 500 watt halogen lamp. used in conjunction with a filter on a color organ for lightning effects.

2023-03-17 15:58:28 +0000 UTCWe use lead free solder wire with a water soluble core flux that's a different story it's horrible to use as the flux is soon evaporated but leaves a residue.
