Sucking ink out of cartridges
Added 2023-09-30 01:56:09 +0000 UTCIt just seemed like a good idea to get some random Epson cartridges and then suck the ink out of them with a syringe to see how much was in them.
Then I discovered that some sites already list the capacity in ml after I'd completely pebbledashed my kitchen sink with blue dye.

I could have squirted this ink into my printer's cyan tank, but I prefer not to mix inks.

I wonder how much of that is people not turning them off properly. I've only ever had problems that I caused by reckless refilling experiments.
