Fixing Twinkly addressable bulbs

Kip Hakes sent me some dead PCBs from a string of festoon style bulbs that had an issue with water ingress.

They have to get the correct PCB for the lights position on the festoon. They seem to be supplied preprogrammed.

2024-01-08 12:50:55 +0000 UTCIf they all have their own unique address, does this mean if a PCB dies and has to be replaced, they can't just plug another one in, they have to replace the faulty light with a new one that has the exact same address?
