Self indicating fuses
Added 2024-06-28 17:09:32 +0000 UTCA look at some common self indicating vehicle fuses that light up to indicate their position and blown state.
Quite useful for situations where a circuit is prone to be overloaded or has a rogue intermittent fault.

I pretty much always put LEDs across my fuses on circuit boards, even PTC types too. It’s a great idea.

2024-07-02 07:10:26 +0000 UTCFYI, the maximum voltage rating of "standard" automotive fuses is 32V DC. Given recent announcements from certain auto manufactures to adopt a higher voltage, some fuses with higher woltage ratings are starting to become available.
