Solar light and useful openscad script
Added 2024-07-10 13:19:32 +0000 UTCA look at Poundland's biggest solar light. It's got a really nice large-diameter globe for other projects like an ambient night light.
I've also included a script in the description for making a stand for it, but the script also has many other uses.

Agreed, unless you're cropping and bending the leads prior to soldering - but then that's an abhorrent practice if the component needs replacing in future...

2024-08-11 15:56:35 +0000 UTCThat may be mil-spec. Cropping leads before soldering, but I doubt. Northrop Grumman Corp, Lockheed Martin Corp. Boeing Corp. are really watching out for that on the factory Floor. Let alone the others.
