New Air Wick atomiser unit
Added 2024-08-22 03:10:41 +0000 UTCThis is a new variant on the Air Wick essential mist oil atomiser. It has a nice illuminated panel on top that glows quite brightly while the unit is emitting mist.
I've experimented with DIY aroma oils, and while you can get a fairly strong aroma from pure essential plant oils diluted with very refined mineral oil, the real thing tends to use very concentrated synthesised aromas.

2024-08-22 17:37:17 +0000 UTCI have had a few different types of these over the years, and quite frankly they all smell terrible to me, a smell that catches the back of the throat. Luckily we have a lot of lavender growing in the garden which is really rather pleasant, but those machines are really interesting,none the less. I learn a lot from these teardowns.

2024-08-22 07:26:04 +0000 UTCI would be interested in seeing you build something with all the techno-junk you have laying around. Maybe combine an air freshener, an ionizer, and a chain saw. Or a solar garden light with an ionizer to make the outdoors smell fresher.
