Glowing inflatable orb

This video was one I made as a welcome break from another video that has a really arduous bit of reverse engineering. Very weird circuitry that gradually releases clues to the products operation as you get deeper into the schematic.

This one on the other hand was very easy to reverse engineer, but has some oddities.

I should dig out a receiver and check the codes. It's definitely transmitting. I can see the pulses on an IR camera.

Wait, those are IR remotes - I don't think I ever dumped the codes for those, but I do know they work with pretty much every light. Which is kinda annoying when they're near each other and you're trying to set them to different colors.

Todd Sharp

Very odd about the remotes not being compatible. Every single LED lamp/flood/strip that I own that uses that remote style are all cross compatible. I actually dumped the codes with the help of an Arduino one time to confirm that. Are you sure the battery wasn't dead in the other remote?

Todd Sharp

I think they fully expect these to be purchased, used for a couple of nights at a festival or a party or camping, and then thrown away. The stores around here recently finished selling off their summer stuff on clearance, and now they have all the halloween stuff fully stocked.

When things get better I will check it out.

The LED modules on the Las Vegas Sphere are quite impressive. They handle a lot of direct sunlight.

Big Clive

The International patent or the Las Vegas Sphere?

You can reinstall the tab? I learned something new today.
