A deviation from the technical content
Added 2024-11-10 05:12:51 +0000 UTCI occasionally use press-stud fasteners to repair or modify work clothing, and saw this unit on AliExpress, so decided to see how strong the plastic handles were.
It doesn't quite manage to complete its task. The plastic is not a good choice of material for a tool that requires reasonable force.

2024-11-10 08:14:55 +0000 UTCReminds me an eyelet maker. They work better because you can punch a hole (in the leather) with the same tool that you use for rounding the eyelet.
