Ridiculously sophisticated fishing float
Added 2025-02-26 03:03:54 +0000 UTCI was expecting this cheap fishing float to have some kind of vibration switch to make the LED flicker when it was tugged by a fish.
What I wasn't expecting was solid state motion sensing circuitry in such a cheap and seemingly simple product.

Wow! I've never come across that battery before. Interesting ... probably a bit too pricey for general use.

2025-02-27 19:58:16 +0000 UTCI used to have a fishing tackle shop, and I couldn't even get normal floats of that shape for a quid, wholesale. Amazing bit of kit though.
