Complex little Plasmacluster unit

Quite a complex little combined rechargeable water/aroma mister and bipolar plasmacluster unit. No schematic though, as the circuitry was quite dense and used lots of very tiny components with vague markings.

I'm not sure why they tend to over engineer things. It just seems to be a Japanese thing.

I wonder if this level of complexity is somehow related to the Japanese "salaryman" work ethic, where so many of them work themselves to an early grave. Maybe they think their bosses need to see this level of engineering so they know they're "doing a good job."

Can't blame you for not wanting to even try to fathom that circuit board out, But what a complex circuit for something so un-necessary. I have a plastic compartment box full of those tiny screws from various things I've dismantled to have a looksee. One never knows when one of them may be useful for a project or repair.

Thanks Big Clive, that was interesting and ridiculously complex! How many microprocessors does one need? Sheesh.

This was such a pleasure to watch. A good old fashioned BigCliveDotCom teardown with tons of screws, a stubborn case, and lots of bench talk during the process.
This product is the antithesis of right-to-repair since it would be practically impossible to reassemble after disassembly to affect a repair!
