The hunt for an elusive flame LED
Added 2025-05-08 16:07:22 +0000 UTCAt some point the new style of candle LEDs will appear on AliExpress, but at the moment it's just the harsh flicker ones.
The new subtle style is much more relaxing than the older juddery type.

I took one of the floating/hanging Harry Potter candles apart and it contained a single cell and boost circuit.
