Opening the crunchy Minecraft light

It turns out that opening the rechargeable Minecraft light is quite destructive. There was broken plastic and a minor dent in a doorframe by the time I'd finished.

On a plus note, the circuitry is pretty good, although a higher capacity lithium cell would have been nice. But I think this was probably a clone (the listing shows it is no longer available.)

Sticking stuff on a painted wall can be pretty destructive, too…

The 32X resistor is an EIA-96 series resistor (of 21 ohms as you said). I had great difficulty understanding these designations too until I found a useful website (of which there are many now) which lists all the codes and multipliers. 32 is for 210 and S or X is for 0.1 multiplier. If you search for EIA-96 you can take a screenshot of these values and print them out for future reference as I have done!
