516 Starting from One Piece

Two years later, Dragon God Realm,

Inside the royal city, Vados, Eighteen, Shalria, and Yamato sat around a table, playing the game with great enthusiasm.

Ever since Kaito led them in playing the board games once, the group acted as if they'd discovered a whole new world and gathered every day to play a few rounds.

But whether it was cards or anything else, Vados's luck was unbelievably good. She had never used divine power to cheat, yet she always won.

This made her prestige among the girls rise sharply. 

Marcarita, on the other hand, was simply too terrible at the game, and even secretly used divine power to cheat. In the end, she was caught by Vados and was directly banned from participating.

Left with no choice, Marcarita lay on a rocking chair, gently fanning herself with a palm-leaf fan, listening to the sound of tiles clicking, her heart itching with envy.

Kalifa and Robin still often went out during the day to handle some work. Kaito had already set up portals throughout the Dragon God Realm—through these portals, one could travel to any world they wished.

After a while, Nami ran in wearing a white sunhat tied with a pink bow. Behind her were Kaguya and Nojiko, both gentle types who spoke softly and delicately.

Black Zetsu followed at the back, carrying a small basket filled with freshly picked oranges.

Nami jogged to Vados's side, peeked at her tiles, and said,

"Vados-san is about to win again!"

The moment she finished speaking, Vados pushed her tiles forward and chuckled,

"Won~"

Eighteen and the others instantly wilted like frostbitten eggplants. Vados turned to Nami with a smile and said,

"Welcome back."

"Mm, where's Kaito?"

Marcarita opened her eyes from the rocking chair and said casually,

"Him? He took little Sakuya out to play—said they were going to some place called Earth."

Earth, on a bustling commercial street,

Kaito held Sakuya's hand as he introduced things along the roadside to her.

Sakuya had her hair styled in an adorable bun today. She held a manga in her hand, pointing angrily at a cartoon character on the page.

"Papa, how did Mama become a big villain in this? She's obviously so gentle!"

Kaito crouched down, rubbed Sakuya's little head, and said softly,

"Every timeline unfolds differently. Don't get too caught up in it. Look—I don't even exist in this manga."

"That's true! Someone like Papa should obviously be the main character!"

Kaito couldn't help laughing. He lifted Sakuya up into his arms and said,

"I think our little Sakuya is the one who should be the main character. Alright, Papa's taking you to eat McDonald's!"

The moment Kaito and Sakuya entered McDonald's, they drew the attention of everyone inside—the father and daughter pair were simply too good-looking.

At the counter, the girl taking orders was still stunned. Sakuya waved her little hand in front of her, bringing her back to her senses. She hurriedly said,

"Sorry—may I take your order?"

Kaito glanced at the menu and noticed McDonald's was doing a collaboration with Naruto. Buying a kids' meal would award a random Naruto figure.

The cashier noticed Sakuya's eyes and asked curiously,

"Is this little one wearing colored contacts? The pattern looks like the Uchiha's Sharingan. So pretty! Which character is she supposed to be?"

Kaito smiled and replied,

"She's Uchiha Sakuya."

The cashier froze—she had definitely never seen that name in the anime.

Just then, another staff member brought over the kids' meal, with a blind box sitting on the tray.

Sakuya opened it excitedly—only to find a black "stick figure" inside.

She widened her eyes, pointed at the stick figure, and asked in shock,

"Who is this?"

The cashier looked helpless—Black Zetsu's popularity and reputation really weren't that good. She could only coax gently,

"This is Black Zetsu. A very powerful boss~"

"Black Zetsu doesn't look like this! Her figure is clearly amazing!"

Little Sakuya indignantly defended Black Zetsu. Her adorable reaction made the surrounding customers burst into laughter.

The cashier couldn't help asking Kaito,

"Is she your little sister? She's so cute!"

Kaito waved his hand and said,

"She's my daughter."

The cashier froze again, feeling a tiny pang of disappointment—such a handsome guy already had a daughter… She had originally thought about asking for his contact.

Kaito didn't say more. He picked up the tray and led Sakuya to a window seat. As soon as she sat down, Sakuya began playing with the Black Zetsu figure. Kaito asked curiously,

"Sakuya, I thought you didn't like that figure?"

Sakuya giggled and said,

"It's fine. I can modify it! Papa, you taught me this earlier—this is called Lightning Metallurgy!"

As she spoke, a wisp of purple electricity flickered at the corner of her eye. The Black Zetsu figure was instantly wrapped in lightning, melted into a puddle of black fluid, giving off a burnt smell—and that was that.

Kaito waved his hand, dispersing the stench instantly. Sakuya stared blankly at the black lump solidifying on the tray and murmured,

"What happened? Why is it different from what Papa made?"

"Hehe, that's because this is plastic. Papa used gold last time."

Sakuya pouted and said aggrievedly,

"Then doesn't that mean I ruined Black Zetsu…?"

Kaito hurried to reassure her,

"How could that be? In a sense, this still counts as your Black Zetsu. She used to turn into this shape all the time."

"Huh? Into… a lump like this?"

"Mm. If you don't believe me, you can ask her when you get back."

Sakuya nodded, then carefully transferred the black lump into her Door-Door Space.

After eating, Kaito took Sakuya to watch a grand fireworks show. Under the sky lit intermittently by fireworks, Sakuya clapped excitedly and shouted,

"Papa look! It's so pretty! Next time you have to bring Mama and the aunties! They have to see this world too!"

A gentle smile never left Kaito's face. Holding Sakuya's little hand, he said softly,

"Alright. Papa will always stay by your side—by all of your sides—until the very end of time."

"Mm!"
