Hey there! :3
Hi everyone, another month ends and I hope it's been a good month for ya! Wishing everyone an amazing August!! Let's dive into the next month's schedule. We will have a Warcraft animation as always! With the release of Baldur's Gate 3, we will have a BG3 animation too! :3
Other than that there's the poll animation and a Mass Effect animation! :3
Next movie:
Unfortunately not many progress this month so far, I still have two days left tho. Aiming for this month to finish at least 3 out of 7 sex scenes.
Hopefully next month will be able to finish all 7 sex scenes and perhaps start refining the intro too.
To clarify, the movie is fully animated and voiced atm, I just have to animate faces in sync with voice acting and small details :3
But since the movie is something I work on after the main schedule of the month is over, I usually don't have much time each month, so I hope I will have more next month! :3
Progresses:
Where to begin... So i've been learning and experimenting a bit with simulations, starting with smoke, that has been used for Wonder Woman animation. Basically, the more you let it bake the better it will look. I absolutely hate baking tho so I am currently still looking for a way to create good looking sims while not having to render forever. Will keep you updated :3
In Tyrande animation, for those who noticed that detail, I animated her swallowing. By using a Vertex Weight Proximity Modifier and a sphere as target object, you can have a dynamic vertex group. By adding a Displace modifier over it, you can simulate a moving bulge which I used to animate her swallowing. It's basically the same principle of Rikolo's ripple tutorial.
I've been also experimenting with Multiresolution modifier over Subdivision Surface. I like very much the freedom of Multires when it comes to sculpting but it's really really a huge issue to not have a preview of your sculpt while animating. So meanwhile I'll use that only for when making posters.
End of the month poll:
It's clear that many many people here like monster contents so I am very curious about your opinion when it comes to fantasy/scifi humanoid races. Do you consider them in "Monster" category or a separate category?
Monster
(Orcs, Krogans, Tieflings, Zombies, Asaris etc...) are definitely monsters.
Not Monster
(Orcs, Krogans, Tieflings, Zombies, Asaris etc...) Are not considerable part of the monster category.
Depends on their behaviour
If they're intelligent creatures with a good behaviour they're not part of the monster category.
For example: Elves, Asaris, Gnomes etc...
If they're generally speaking wilder or evil they're part of the monster category.
For example: Orcs, Goblins, Trolls. (Not the warcraft ones as they're very civilised and smart)
Depends on their look
If they look monstrous enough (Krogans, Taurens, Worgen etc) then they're considerable part of the monster category.
