Hellooooooooo!! Here's the second animation of the month!! I know it's already the 20th but sigh... Kinda overdid this month D:
Magik, Cerys and Black Widow all ended up being very complex t-t
Magik is fully voiced and will work on it this weekend while tomorrow I finish animating Mai :D

The people of Skellige hold a sacred mating ritual to welcome the arrival of spring, ensuring fertile lands, prosperity, and warmth. This season, Cerys has chosen to offer herself for the rite, trusting that her strength and devotion will bring a bountiful blessing to her people.

Something really important I learned here thanks to my friend Ado is about the rendering time. Apparently Eevee next rendering is very badly optimised when it comes to lights, from what I've seen it seems like no matter if visible or not or whether the light is actually casting any light it will still cause lots of computations. So basically by disabling lights in angles where it's not visible you can save a loooot of rendering time, on top of that if you limit the distance of a light to the minimum necessary it will also cut a huge chunk of rendering time. Basically by simply setting up the lights by limiting their distance and visibility I went from 3h20m of rendering to 1h11m for the exact same result.

I tried disabling and enabling modifiers, models, particles and many other things and from my tests it seems that nothing is even remotely comparable to lights when it comes to rendering speed. I have no idea how it works for Cycles but if you animate in Eevee, be mindful of that! :D

On top of that there's a viewport speed addon, I don't remember the name of it but if you search on youtube/google "blender eevee viewport speed 120%" you should find it immediately. It provides an addon that modifies with a click the setup of "normal" nodes for a faster viewing and higher fps in the rendered viewport!
