New Airship Sailwings type "Plane"

Ladies and gentlemen,

See my test builds on the new cloud stands in all their glory!

I have added this alternate sail wings type to the "horizontals" set. I call it the "plane" wing. The fan type wings were more triangle shaped and for these new ones I just wanted them to stretch out on the sides! This will be a better fit in case you want to add guns, turbine/propeller engines (that might come later ;) ) or similar to the wing section. 

I designed the tail so the actual stern/end of the ship will have no horizontal element there. This is because I want an option so I can mount a vertical sail rudder once I have them done.

The main idea (although I am preparing these in the files for my small ships set) that you can mix and match all the elements and design your own combinations even for other ships. As you have to mount these on heavy cardboard anyway you can just trace the shape of your boat of choice, cut out the elements you like and arrange them to your liking. Glue, dry and then cut out the new design ... and you have got a new airship!!!

Here's a sneak peek at what I am aiming at with the vertical rudder sail in the tail section.

For now I will focus on the horizontal set. I want to add a "dragon/bat" wing option for the gun ship. These kind of sails only make sense on large boats to me. a small version would not look great. 

And finally I want to create some lever handles bits to hint at some sort of way to open close the wings! So this will be the content of the first set in this series.

The second one will be the vertical sail types and the third will focus on the more machine type of propulsions (propeller, turbine lifts ... stuff like that). And then I have to think about Zeppelins!

Cannot explain why this theme is giving me such a rush. I was kind of stuck with the Grenzwacht/Castle walls design so I am really enjoying the creative juices flowing like a river after a crisp summer thunderstorm! I might restart that walls with a full castle set in mind a little later and give it more time to ripen and mature in my head.

So for now it's to the skies! Looking forward to release the first set soon (1-2weeks max) and see what you guys will do with it.
