Ladies and gentlemen,

I wanted to give you a look at what I am planning next ... and it's a modular watchtower in the style of the "Grenzwacht" series. It might be a precursor to more castle-like modules, but I want to approach that theme with standalone modules first.

I had the idea when I saw a picture of the castle Falkenstein in Carinthia. I loved that very special roof top of the main tower. So I started making some prototypes and see how many modules I could fit in there for multi-purpose buildings. I might come up with one or two more but for now this is what I have locked my geometry.

If you have ideas for other tower tops let me know in the comments!

One thing I might try to do with this one is to tackle terrain modules ... add a little hill to place the tower on (like if it's a lonesome watchtower) as I have been wanting to do some landscape terrain modules for quite some time now.

This project will probably take a while as I have some natural breaks coming up (a wedding of friends in Sicily and my vacation in Greece in June and then some renovation work in my girlfriends fathers house in July and August). So I expect a release not be before September? Let's see.

In the meantime I am trying to release some more smaller bits here in the Gold Digger setting and maybe try some Carnivale modules (although I am not sure yet what I will be doing there ... it's a very new setting for me :) ).

OK that's it for today. Until next time have fun, stay safe and keep building!

Thanks! One thing Tudor I am playing around in my mind is a building inspired by the LotR Bree inn.

Looking forward to more buildings that fit a major city well! Both of my player groups are about to arrive in the main cities for their campaigns, so really hoping for some nice castle pieces and I'd absolutely love some finer/nicer larger tudor buildings so they can battle in the streets! Hope you have a nice (if not too busy) summer!

That sounds good. :) It will be like the classic scene in the Barrymore movie with the dashing hero fighting his way down the stairs. :) Or like the not so dashing hero fighting his way up the stairs, attacking the bouquets and unwilling wedding guests. :)
