Watchtower WIP and vacation

Ladies and gentlemen,

I have been working on texturing the watchtower modules lately. I started with the "Castle Falkenstein" top because I just adore that shape :) It's modelled after the castle in Carinthia, Austria. I am very happy with the results but after the test build I want to optimize the build process so it comes together more easily.

Next I am tackling the "regular" top starting with the base walls (as seen above). As usual I try to add a couple of options in the files so you have many different looks available in the end. I find this esp. important with a modular set like this. I hope you will be able to whip up different watchtowers for your games on the fly very easily.

Next month I will be away a lot so I don't know how much progress I will be able to make. I will definitely try to squeeze in what I can when I am here. I will be attending a wedding in Sicily. Apparently living close to an ever active vulcano is quite appealing so some in our family :) Rumor has it that we will be invited to a tour on the Etna ... it has just erupted a couple of weeks ago!

After that I will go on my summer vacation. Like last year we are invited to our friends house on the Greek Island of Alonissos and we loved it so much we decided to go again. Really looking forward to some quiet & relaxing time and hope to get some sketching done there.

Because of this I am not sure if I will be able to finish a BIT for June. If not I will try to make it up when I get back again in July! :) I do want to make a little loading tower for the gold digger camp next.

If that works out well I can see myself tackling a couple of siege weapons as they will have similar texture painting and construction paths. I think this has been requested a couple of times.
