Viridian Gate Online - Custom Card Deck
Added 2020-08-12 18:00:03 +0000 UTCHey everyone! So I wanted to share some art with you all. There will be a BUNCH of it coming down the pipeline. DJ Bodden (Author of the Illusionist) and I thought it would be really cool to make a VGO Custom Card Deck. It'll have all the normal cards, so you can use it for any game, but it will also come with extra Veteran Cards and rules for Gentleman's War, which is a game featured in VGO, often played among Thieves. The plan is to fund it on Kickstarter eventually, though that is still a ways down the road.
But in the meantime, there will be art! Lots of art. There will be four suits, Inquistors, Murk Elves, Monsters, and Thieves, and each card in each suit will feature a different character, along with some awesome flavor text. For all the LitRPG fans out there, we will also be producing some cards that happen to be based on some of my friends, who also happen to be well-known LitRPG authors. Like Dakota Krout, Michael Chatfield, Ramon Mejia, and many others.
I'm going to be posting several of the cards per work. Hope you enjoy the heck out of them and the excellent VGO artwork! For the first installment, I bring you the High Inquisitor and the deadly Grass Wolf.
