Writing and Publishing Update!

Hey everyone, sorry it's been quiet around here for the past few weeks. Things have been a little turbulent over at Shadow Alley Press. Our former Operations Manager, Kelly, left us. She's a great lady and is going to stay on as one of our editors, but she had to leave due to family circumstances. We were really sad to see her go for a ton of reasons, foremost among them that she is an awesome person and a great friend. Unfortunately, she also handled a ton of our administrative work at Shadow Alley, including our ebook formatting. Jeanette and I have been working overtime to handle her workload, so a few things have definitely fallen through the cracks.

But there is some good news! 

We found a new Operations Manager, Dave, and a new ebook formatter. We're training them both up and they should have their feet under them in no time at all. And in other news, I FINALLY finished Bibliomancer 2!!! This book was really hard to write but I am so happy with the end outcome. I think its fun and funny and funky. I'll be posting chapters here and I'd love to get your feedback. Shadowcroft Year 2 is also almost done, Aaron and I are in the home stretch and the rest of the book should be done my the end of May. Chapters are incoming.

In VGO news, I'm working on VGO 8 and it's coming along well. I'm really excited with all of the different elements coming into play and I think it will be a perfect capstone on what I consider to be my favorite series.  Hopefully I'll start posting chapters here by the end of the month. We also have a new VGO Expanded Universe book done, written by E.C. Godhand. This one features a brand new, never before seen character, Dr. Lisette Chen. The series is called the Heartfire Healer, and Lisette plays as an honest to goodness cleric. The blurb is below, and I'll be posting an ARC copy this weekend for anyone who'd like to get a crack at it!
