Hello,

I hope you had a blast during the holidays season, and that I find you happy and healthy in this very cold month for many among us. Snowstorms and inclement weather has been a staple of the Canadian winter, and I am quite literally stuck under the ice today. I have even remained without electricity for a good while yesterday!

Still, progress of the game is going along quite well, though a bit slower than for text-only games, as you can imagine that animations and rendering take quite a long time to craft (and test). However, I am very proud of Moonstalkers, which nicely represents my vision for a more visually engaging sequel to Concubine, and is now ready for future updates following extensive testing of the core engine.

As always, I have tried to balance the game progression and sexual scenes, though the next update should be a bit more oriented toward the latter as I open up the Black Lotus. Sister Eliana should also get her first scene soon, should you want a good massage.

Also, I realize that it is impossible for me to offer the same customization of the player in a visual game, though I hope you will enjoy the variety of scenes I have planned in the future. As you know, I do not shy away from encounters between women or men (with a spice of BDSM), and I welcome your suggestions on how to make them more interesting to you (contact me on Discord).

I wish you the best until the next update, and hope you enjoy my work.

Hello Orex. Right now only english is available for the game. I would gladly translate it once it's complete, though. :)

Hello Logan! how in the game to change the language? Is it possible?

Hey thanks for the nice words. I have managed to create a single line skip which should answer that issue that many commented upon. I'm still not sure if I can design a scroll back issue, which would be even more difficult as the game make use of branching timeline to create the choice panels.

Logan Scodini

This is not made in a visual-novel engine, but the game still effectively plays like one and I think many of the things important to a visual novel are going to be important to this game. Something else I forgot to mention was the inability to "scroll back" through older messages, that would be great also. Also, I'm a software developer, so I fully understand what extra work you would have to do to implement such features. I think the movement speed of characters is good. Sometimes smoother animations would be nice, but for me it doesn't detract from the game. With that said, I think you'll have a hard time finding a universally good dialog speed. For myself I find that generally it is slower than my reading, but sometimes I misread something and have to re-read, and I end up not managing to read the entire message. I really strongly feel that manual control and/or being able to scroll back to old messages is important. PS. I know this sounds negative, but I am very pleased with all your work. Especially in terms of quality it is excellent!

Glad you like it. The skip function is not so easy to implement, as Moonstalkers is driven by a custom WebGL engine (it is not a VN like Ren'py or Tyrano). Think of it more like the Mass Effect / Telltale engine, which need to implement animations and interrupts. --- By the way, do you feel like the characters are too slow/fast? I animated the mouths to correspond to the length of the text by normal speech speed, but do you feel it is not working as it should?

Logan Scodini

Enjoying it so far, though the forced pace is annoying (Not being able to skip single lines of dialog)
