saying lover was taylor's last great album is such tea... i mean personally i believe her peak was red from how much i enjoyed the singles on that album, but very interesting seeing a fan reject folklore/evermore when that was what really began her 2020s revival after lover kind of flopped. never been huge on her in general, but i appreciate hearing a unique opinion like that. great video, i loved your technical explanation at the beginning about CDs & lossless audio, makes me feel vindicated in also being a CD collector as opposed to collecting vinyl like all my other friends/people i see online do. at first it was just more economical since i started really collecting CDs in middle school when vinyls were just started to resurge (but i couldn't afford a record player & vinyls are just more expensive anyways) but i still agree with the audio quality & i just think they're cute & little compared to vinyl. sucks that the industry has really been pushing towards people to collect vinyl tho since a lot of artists will include special editions exclusively for that. please make more CD videos!

They're durable, aesthetically pleasing, and best of all, they're EMP proof. I like to look at audio waveforms too. It's rather fascinating to watch their evolution over time. Waveforms from a '60s song look much different than electronic tracks from circa 2000 onward. 22:26 check out all the pretty rainbow colors reflecting all around. It's kinda magical honestly, there's something special about CDs. The packaging on The Dark Knight score is epic.
