I'm very much on vacation now so I can't wait to log on when I have some time and read your comments about the Season 7 arcs which are all scheduled to go out this week. Season 7 kicks off chronologically with an Ahsoka heavy arc, which was a very pleasant surprise for me.
Ahsoka's Walkabout consists of the following episodes:
Season 07, Episode 05: Gone With a Trace
Season 07, Episode 06: Deal No Deal
Season 07, Episode 07: Dangerous Debt
Season 07, Episode 08: Together Again

Yeah, I really did enjoy the civilian aspect of this arc and getting some more insight into that side of the population.

2022-10-18 20:10:54 +0000 UTCThe Martez sisters definitely weren't the worst arc in the show. But, for a revival season there was SIGNIFICANTLY better stories they could have picked. The Son of Datbomir story would have been so much more appropriate for those who don't read comics. They could have picked any number of better stories to tell. Still though it was by no means the worst arc.

Trace and Rafa are not bad characters, and they bring a lot to the World-building of Coriscant, regular civilians, and the Spice Dealers of Star Wars. Kessel was in Solo by the way, that is where Han and the gang go to get the Coaxium! And Crismson Dawn is the Crime Syndicate that you see in Solo as well, where we also see Maul! I’ve said it before but I LOVE THE PYKES! Though Marr Crem is definitely no LOM PYKE from the last ARC, I like him WAY MORE. Also the Jedi that Rafa talks about taking to after their parents die might be Luminara Unduli, Barris’s Master, who we know to be one of the more Apathetic Jedi. And the Red Eyed Alien protecting ZERO the Hutt is 99% probably CAD BANE, since he broke him out. I actually really like these episodes!

2022-10-04 18:37:30 +0000 UTCI don’t think I noticed Bo Katan my first watch through either but this time I knew exactly who was watching Ahsoka. Love seeing Ahsoka away from the order and how she used her training in everyday life.

2022-10-04 17:02:12 +0000 UTCGone without a Trace - When Ahsoka first meets Trace, she asks " why are you helping me?" Showing that Ahsoka now has trust issues. Loved how she beat up those thugs with ease, haha! I missed Ahsoka in season 6. I love her story. Top 4 Star Wars character for me.

Exploring what other people think of the jedi and how cold the jedi can be at times is really fascinating and something we don't see. Also Ahsoka trying to help but not reveal herself as a jedi to those same people is also interesting to see, but again it could've been two episodes, MAYBE three. After waiting years to see Ahsoka again, this isn't what fans were hoping for. At least the rest of season 7 is fire

2022-10-03 19:03:05 +0000 UTCYeah the Martez sisters are not very popular in the fandom. I don't think people expected new characters to be introduce in the revival season. I enjoy them and the character arc Ahsoka go through with them is very important after the end of season 5. Nice timing for a video release, The Clone Wars premiered on this day 14 years ago. I feel old thinking about it. Onto the backdoor pilot for the Bad Batch next.

2022-10-03 18:09:09 +0000 UTCThis arc is personally not high on my list, I found the sisters very, VERY annoying and they stayed consistently annoying throughout the arc, there were some nice moments like Ahsoka referring to anakin as her ‘older brother’ and Anakin letting Ahsoka leave with the sisters, those were lovely. Ahsokas drip in this arc tho 😮💨 absolutely FIRE. Looking forward to the next arc! I loveeeee the bad batch so much. Great reaction as always KL, glad you enjoyed this one more than I did (:
