Andor: Kassa [1x01] ✦ Watchalong Reaction & Review

Hello there! This reaction is one (of a few) in my "Try Before You Buy" reaction videos here on Patreon. For the TV series that I react to, I typically give the first episode out for free so you can experience it with me and see if you're up for joining us to continue! You must have your own copy of the episodes to watchalong as I do blur the episodes and have the audio muted. I leave around 30-60 seconds of it up at the start of each episode for syncing purposes. I am not allowed to distribute the entire episodes in my videos as this is illegal. Thank you for watching along with me!

Hey everyone! Andor is finally beginning! Absolutely loving the visuals and the vibe/atmosphere of this show. I can't wait to see what happens with the two main things going on in the story! I'll be continuing the show when I return from vacation in a few days.

As always, leave your comments below and let me know your thoughts. Also please don't laugh at me too hard for my BBY mixup. πŸ˜‚ Am still a baby Star Wars fan. [Direct link here.]

I can't remember my reactions to this series at all LOL but I've rewatched a number of the episodes and yeah, it is definitely up there for me. So good!

My favorite Star War series.

No such thing as late (cause think of how many patrons might sign up and watch these next year or the year after)! That's awesome. I'm super excited to keep watching more of this show. Thank you for watching Justin!

I’m late, but that’s ok. I really like Andor, BIX is awesome! And Beemo is great! When I first watched these first 3 episodes with my friends I kept calling BIX β€œBINKS” πŸ˜….

Justin

Excited to watch more!

I don’t know about most people, but I absolutely love Andor, it’s so different and grounded and I am HERE for it!

I'm going to assume that at this point in episode 1, those kids had been living on their own for a few years (3?) after the "mining disaster" happened, putting him at 6. Obviously we don't know that yet, but I'm assuming the time discrepancy would be explained by him being orphaned at 6

I should mention the only thing Cassian says about is past in Rogue One is that he has been in this fight since he was 6 years old. According to the Cassian databank entry on sw.com he is 9 years old here in the flashbacks, so his adult self considered he was already a fighter there. Why ? I am sure we will find out.

It's a big change from the end of clone wars to this, but this is exactly the type of show I was wanting from Star Wars. Obviously we just got episode 6 of 12 for the show today so we don't know how it finishes but so far it's a great change of pace from typical star wars. Usually with star wars it's a bit of set up, then action, back and forth, but even from the first episode of Andor you can tell it's deliberately slower with more of a build up and a fleshing out of characters and places. When the show was announced, I figured it had to be a spy thriller type of show and so far that's what they're doing and it's great. This is exactly what Star Wars needed

This show takes its time but it is a great ride. Looking forward to you catch up with us over the next few weeks. You like the vibe, so i am sure you gonna like the show going forward. The cinematography is top tier, i would say better than other tv shows on D+. It is closer to HBO. I hope someone checking this show don't stop themselves at episode 1 even if they don't love it instantly, it is really worth it.
