That might be the reason why they released the whole first arc at once, so that everyone would see that the slow pace of things actually do lead up to something along the way (as opposed to being a slow burn all the way to the season finale). I love the storytelling here. It gives you time to get to know all the characters and learn about their thoughts and motivations. If they just made it into another action show you'll lose so much of that. Also the payoff loses a lot of it's impact if the build-up is not done properly. Also loving that we follow the story from the ISB point of view so closely as well. Sort of like a CSI-show where we are rooting for the ones being investigated.

They've done these episodes in loose arcs, like 1-3 were together, 4-6 are together, i believe they said 7 is standalone, 8-9 are together and 10-12 are together. Obviously the same show and characters but the plot sort of stays together. That format really helps with the payoffs in episode 3 and 6 so far you've seen, but it does make the episodes before a bit harder to get through since it is so slow in the build up.

Dedra and her assistant have a good little work friends vibe which is just rare to see Imperial Characters being nice to even each other. Like all the ISB stuff is top tier goodness! Nemmik is the GOAT! And there is also a new color/flavor of Star Wars Milk from a 🐐!!! Now we have Blue, Green, and Cinnamon Colored Milks. The next episode is a good one!

2022-11-05 17:29:20 +0000 UTCI perfectly understand why you somewhat expected the heist to start this episode but Andor is not afraid to slow it down even more. It will be worth it. The writing of this show is so impeccable, even on repeat viewing i pick up new stuff and small details. I can't wait to rewatch next episode now !
