Hello everyone! Well, the day has finally arrived. This reaction is SPOILER-FREE for those of you who do not know the story. I do compare to the video game here and there throughout the reaction, but I do NOT mention anything that is to come. 2023-01-17 16:22:47 +0000 UTCAhh, welcome in to the post-apocalyptic world of The Last of Us! You're in for a journey and this is exactly why I'm keeping my reaction spoiler-free. In the game, that death is what you experience right before they push you into the opening credits, so it hits just as hard playing the game as it did to watch the show and it was my biggest thing that I was hoping they would get right and I am super pleased. 2023-01-17 15:29:54 +0000 UTCI'm so sorry you're having that happen! I know that there are syncing issues sometimes between countries. Not sure where you're located but I have talked to people before who live in countries where shows/movies are shown at a different FPS than the country the YouTuber/reactor is watching from, which sometimes causes things to become out-of-sync. Honestly, your solution of playing at 1.05 speed is probably the best option as I've really only heard the "solution" to be to pause and re-sync as often as you can.

So thank you for the non spoiler reaction, i appreciate it. I was never a big zombie and horror fan, but i like the way it is presented here. It is more creepy than over the top scary. What a tragic death, losing the focus character of the first half hour caught me totally off guard. I have a lot of lore questions, but i will let the show answer them first i think. One detail i am still not sure why it was here is Sarah looking and touching her knife. I wonder why this scene was here, maybe her dna will be important or maybe it is to make a parallele with Ellie's knife later. Thanks for the reaction, i am happy to have another quality show to look forward too.

2023-01-17 12:20:42 +0000 UTCOn a technical point, it looks like I’ll have the same syncing issue as with other broadcast shows and DVD’s I always have - I believe it’s due to the PAL format which results in my video playing faster than the reaction, so requires pausing a second or two every minute. Streaming platforms and Blurays are fine. I’ve found a reasonable workaround having noticed that pc browser YouTube has a custom speed option so I can choose 1.05, which whilst not perfect seems like it might be a closer match. Anyone know of any better or other solutions?
