XTRA XTRA EP XX-X1

I really enjoyed this! Very in depth and it makes a lot about where they're coming from and their mission make sense to me. It's amazing to see that they've been able to successfully carry through on their vision so far, it really speaks to the skill and dedication of everyone involved!

Fair Warning that I do go on a bit of a rant/tangent on Cultural Appropriation around the 30 minute mark, so you can just skip like 3 minutes if you don't care. Keep in mind that I don't actually hold this against the girls themselves or even really care about the hair that they wear in the first place, but I know that CA is something that's been a part of the conversation around XG and their concept/styling and I have noticed and I while it's not going to stop me from stanning or giving them their tens at this point for many complex reasons, I do still personally have very strong opinions on the topic as someone who lives in the States and has been personally bothered/harassed about my hair in a work environment (not to mention all the women in my life I know who have dealt with it). TL;DR, I'd love to live in a world where things like CA don't matter because everyone is treated with the same respect and given the same grace and things like culture could really be freely given to other groups by black people on a large scale, but that world currently doesn't exist lol, so I'm gonna point it out when I feel the need to even if it's really just a fringe issue compared to all the other things to care about.

Don't worry though, now that I've gotten the rant out and can point people towards this video, I'll have no reason to ever bring it up in these reactions again unless it's relevant or super egregious.

Biggest takeaway though, I still love and stan all the girls and don't blame them for it!
