I'd probably opt for movie nights in DIscord or something for rewatches of those films! Even though this movie didn't resonate with me, I'm definitely not writing off his movies completely. I've heard Blazing Saddles is fun.

2023-03-30 00:31:14 +0000 UTCYeah this movie is just pure silliness. I love how self aware the movie is, with the instant cassettes, the remote and other references. And the merchandising which was the key to George Lucas' fortune from Star Wars. As far as Mel Brooks movies go, he always acts in them himself (all of them that I've seen at least). I understand that you won't be rewatching it (I only rewatch it for reactions). But if you'll be interested to check out others of his movies, I'll recommend "Blazing Saddles" and "Robin Hood: Men in Tights". Compared with Monty Python though, I personally feel Python has more clever writing. As you mentioned feeling like rewatching Python movies... If you'll do those as reactions, I'll be happy to watch them 😀
